Musescore is a site where you can find and download different sheet music arrangements. You can also upload your own creations. There are two features that make this page stand out from other sites.

Practice video

If you find an arrangement of a song you for a student like you can have a practice video that shows which piano keys to play with the click of a button.

Students can also listen to their parts and follow along as the music scrolls on the screen.

Enlargement

The Limelighter from Dancing Dots is a device created to offer digital enlargement of sheet music, but it requires xml files, which then need to be loaded into the device and uses a variety of menus to change the size of the music. Musescore has a feature that allows the user to click a plus or minus sign to instantly enlarge the music. Better yet, it not only increases the size, the measures are moved to new lines as needed without any additional work. This could be a cost effective tool to use in a bind for low vision students.

Example of standard size sheet music and the enlarged version in Musescore.
