One of the most difficult areas of teaching students with visual impairments in a class with both braille and large print readers is the huge difference in the way music "looks" and is read. It can be hard for the braille readers to understand when you are talking about staff lines and clefs. I have found that using 3D printed manipulatives greatly increases understanding by the braille and print readers. You can also use a board with Velcro notes for the low vision students to help them visualize concepts or passages. I am in beta testing for tiles that show a raised version of the print note with the music braille character.
